On Thursday, at Muthu English Medium School in Deva Nagar, a heartfelt celebration took place to honor the birthday of Anandan, the visionary founder of Chaitanya Swachhanda Seva Sanstha. Despite facing challenges such as the lack of its own building and limited funds, the organization continues its noble work with the help of generous donors. The event saw children, teachers, donors, and admirers gathering to celebrate, cutting a cake and extending their warm wishes to Anandan.
Chaitanya Swachhanda Seva Sanstha currently provides shelter and education to around 80 children from class one to class ten, all free of charge. The organization goes beyond basic education, offering special training programs in health, meditation, yoga, sports, singing, concentration, and self-employment. Anandan, the dedicated administrator and founding president, has transformed the ashram into Ananda Nilayam, a sanctuary not only for orphans but also for nurturing their education and skill development.
Operating out of a rented building, the ashram has created a familial atmosphere where children from Muthu School live and learn together, forming bonds akin to those of siblings. They receive quality education, yielding commendable academic results. Younger children receive their education at the ashram through classes conducted by Muthu English Medium School.
Anandan expresses a heartfelt appeal to donors, celebrities, and the government for assistance to expand the organization’s reach and impact. He envisions serving even more children selflessly, with the support of the community. Over the years, Chaitanya Swachhanda Seva Sanstha has garnered appreciation from many dignitaries, public representatives, and government officials for its remarkable services.
Medical services are provided to the children by eminent doctors, ensuring their well-being. Additionally, students are trained in karate, dance, sewing, knitting, and the production of candles and agarbattis. The dedicated staff work tirelessly to boost the children’s self-confidence and prepare them for the future. Anandan believes that with government recognition and funding, the organization can take on greater responsibilities and serve the community even more effectively.
The birthday celebration was attended by Dr. GVS Babu, Administrative Director of Chaitanya Charity, General Secretary Kavita Rani, Principal Patnam Girijamma, Executive Director A Krishna Charan, donors, teachers, and students, all joining in to honor Anandan’s unwavering dedication and vision.
