Celebrates the 93rd Birth Anniversary of Missile Man of India, Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

Under the leadership of MP Anandan, Chaitanya Voluntary Service Society celebrated the 93rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, at their office in Devata Nagar, 4th Road, Madanapalle. The event saw the presence of the chief guest, B. Subhadramma, from Gram Jyothi Service Society, who was warmly welcomed by the children with floral bouquets.

The occasion began with MP Anandan, Treasurer Mrs. Patnam Girijammal, Administrative Director Dr. GVS Babu, General Secretary A. Kavitha Rani, and the staff, along with the elderly residents of Anand Old Age Home and children, paying floral tributes to the portrait of the Missile Man of India, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

MP Anandan, in his address, highlighted how Dr. Kalam, who started his journey as a newspaper boy, rose to the stature of the President of India, making him an eternal source of inspiration for today’s generation and students. He encouraged everyone to follow the footsteps of this great visionary.

Dr. GVS Babu, Administrative Director, praised Dr. Kalam as the only person who truly lived his quote, “Dream, and then make those dreams come true.” He emphasized that Dr. Kalam’s life is an inspiration to all, especially the youth.

B. Subhadramma, chief guest from Gram Jyothi Service Society, applauded the commendable services of Chaitanya Voluntary Service Society. She encouraged the children residing there, expressing her hope that they would continue to excel in all fields, following the footsteps of Dr. Kalam and bringing pride to the organization.

General Secretary A. Kavitha Rani, in her speech, praised Dr. Kalam as a beacon of humility and a great inspiration to students and people all over the world, describing him as the true “Missile Man of India.”

The celebration was marked by delightful performances, including songs and speeches by the children of Chaitanya Voluntary Service Society, who captivated the audience with their talent and enthusiasm.
