Under the leadership of Mr. M.P. Anandan, the Chaitanya Service Society organized a Swachh Bharat campaign at their premises located on 4th Road, Devata Nagar, Madanapalle. The event aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental hygiene as part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
During the campaign, the staff and members of Chaitanya Service Society actively participated in cleaning the surrounding areas of the premises, removing garbage, and ensuring proper waste disposal. Mr. M.P. Anandan, addressing the participants, emphasized the importance of cleanliness for a healthy environment. He stated that the initiative was in accordance with the directives of the Government of India and highlighted that maintaining cleanliness is not only a responsibility but also a service to the nation. He encouraged everyone to treat cleanliness as a duty and a higher form of service.
The staff, children from Muthu English Medium School, and senior citizens from the Ananda Old Age Home enthusiastically participated by cleaning the surroundings and disposing of the waste in designated dustbins. The participants pledged to uphold the principles of cleanliness and to continue advancing the Swachh Bharat mission to prevent the spread of diseases and promote a healthier environment.
The event saw active participation from Mr. M.P. Anandan, General Secretary A. Kavitha Rani, Treasurer Patnam Girijammal, teachers, students, and senior citizens from the Ananda Old Age Home, making it a collective effort to further the cause of cleanliness and public health.
